         The following statements show that it is hard for an Igbo man to enter the kingdom of Heaven:
  1. The Igbo man loves money more than his life.
  2. Do not play with an Igbo man’s money.
  3. If you want to know whether an Igbo man is dead or life, just jingle money in his ear.
  4. Give an Igbo man money, and he will sell his brother.
  5. Let my dog kill another person’s dog, and I shall pay compensation.
  6. I was born a catholic, and I shall die a catholic. Likewise, those who say, “I was born an Anglican and I shall die an Anglican.” The world is God’s own school. You are expected to move from one spiritual level to a higher level. That is one of the reasons why people change church.
  7. Wide prevalence of shrines, here and there, at every nook and cranny.
  8. Giving people money to represent you at pagan shrines, sacrifices and worships.
  9. Participating in pagan festivals and rituals.
